IBM Acquisition again being reporting in Newspaper


Financial Express today reports that IBM is looking for small to mid size IT Service Provider in India. It also says that it is not averse to acquire large IT Service Provider at the right price. It has already engage Investment Banker for the same.


This agains brings Satyam in limelight. The others in mid size IT Service Provider can be Zensar, KPIT Systems,Sasken, Covansys etc. But at the same time, IBM Commique has mentioned that they feel the listed companies are overstretched in terms of valuation.


IBM is the largest IT Service Provider in the world having close to UDS 100 billion in revenue. It has already spend USD 5 bn in 2006 and sources say it is about to strike a deal worth a billion dollar in India.
