Interim Dividend Declaration by Companies - Response to FM for his DDT increase by 2.5 %
Interim Dividend declaration has been rampant in the last 2 to 3 days after the Budget Proposal to increase the Dividend Distribution Tax by 2.5 %. This has been a big negative for the Government where it might be losing big Tax in case these companies declare huge dividend and not give any dividends or meagre dividend for the next year.
